Heartlinks is not only a place where people of all ages can turn when tragedy strikes but also a place where you can learn to live with hope again. Though Heartlinks provides ongoing grief support services for children and teens in six counties in Southwestern Illinois, our website also contains lots of helpful resources for anyone facing death or illness.
WHAT IS THEIR BIGGEST CHALLENGE?
You may be going through the loss of someone you love right now. It may have already occurred or you may be in that breathless time waiting for a call, visiting and watching as someone does the difficult work of dying, you may be working hard to care for someone as they die.
Trying to manage the serious illness or death of someone you love is not only difficult but also extremely lonely. During this time, it can feel as if the lives of everyone around you go on, while your life has stopped.
No one should have to walk alone in their grief.

Heartlinks provides a variety of services to children, teens, families and adults who are trying to manage the serious illness or death of someone they love.
