Who Does Your Product Serve?
Grief Care Packages serves those in the earlier stages of grief. The audience is for those looking for something to give a loved one who has experienced a loss.
What Is Their Biggest Challenge?
The biggest challenge that a griever experiences is that people tend to disappear after the funeral or memorial and they are left to grieve by themselves. There is much about the symptoms of grief that the average person is unaware. These care packages are designed to assist the person in coping with them.
The grief supporter is looking for something more than just flowers to give to the person who just lost a loved one. Offering monthly packages reminds the person grieving that someone cares about them long after the funeral is over.
How Does Your Product Help?
We offer people who are dealing with grief a care package designed by a psychologist to help make their journey in grief a little less painful. For example, our triage box has many items to help with the physical symptoms of grief in the early stages such as nausea, difficulties with sleep, forgetfulness. Receiving these boxes monthly reminds those grieving that they are not alone, that the person sending them is thinking about them, and is acknowledging that grief lasts quite some time. Once we have an online platform ready, those grieving will also be able to have more contact with the person or persons who sent them their care packages. We also send information and reminders to the people who purchased the box(es) for them of ways they can be better "grief supporters."
